Do you want to work practically with technology, problem-solving, and varied tasks?

WeStaff Sweden is now looking for a Line Technician for our client in Uppsala. Here you will have a varied role where no two days are the same. You will become an important part of the operations, working with assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and practical improvements in a high-tech production environment.

This role is for you if you are handy, technically curious, and enjoy solving problems. You thrive working practically and have broad technical understanding: whether your background is in mechanics, electrical engineering, plumbing, industry, or similar.

About the role

As a Line Technician, you are responsible for supporting production by building, adapting, and improving equipment and workstations. The work is varied and often consists of unique assemblies and technical solutions rather than repetitive production work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling and building production equipment, workstations, and technical solutions
  • Performing mechanical assemblies and simple electrical installations
  • Working with maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Addressing practical problems that arise in production
  • Participating in improvement projects and developing smart solutions for the business
  • Collaborating closely with production, engineering, and other functions

You will become part of an engaged team where initiative, problem-solving, and collaboration are highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is hands-on and enjoys working with your hands
  • Has experience from, for example, industry, mechanics, electrical, electronics, plumbing, property, or similar technical work
  • Has a strong technical interest and enjoys solving problems
  • Is self-motivated, responsible, and flexible
  • Has good Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken

Merits:

  • Experience in electrical/mechanical assembly
  • Basic knowledge in electrical or electronics
  • Experience in maintenance work or production technology
  • Forklift or crane license

Why choose this job:

  • A varied job where no two days are the same
  • Great opportunity to influence and find your own technical solutions
  • Work in a modern and high-tech operation
  • Nice colleagues and a helpful work environment
  • Secure employment with a collective agreement
  • Long-term assignment with good development opportunities

Employment: Full-time, daytime hours (Monday–Friday)

Start: The recruitment process starts in August. Start date by agreement.
